Life update:
These past few months have brought me so many changes, challenges & new opportunities. I’m a person who is terribly scared of changes I like everything to always stay the same. It’s terribleπŸ˜‚ These past few months I’ve learned to accept change & to be more accepting/open to it.
I finally graduated college, quit one of my jobs that I’ve been wanting to leave for so long😫 & I’m deciding to start new ventures in my life. I’m literally beyond scared to fail in life but that’s not the mindset I should have. I wanted to come on here & say life is going to throw you sooo so many hills & worrying about them now is not going to help you. Take it day by day. Progress takes time. Building yourself takes timeπŸ’—Everything takes time. I’m excited for a new journeyπŸ€—

I was on my way back to Sydney after spending the weekend in Jervis Bay car camping. I was relaxed, filled with gratitude and mentally preparing for the new work week. That's when I opened my phone and saw the articles flooding my news feed.. all non essential businesses will be closing their doors. I was a non essential business.

I was one of the many to lose their job overnight.

What.

I was in shock. I was scared. I was confused about my next step. But so was my neighbour. So was my local cafe owner. So was everyone. All we can do in such a terrifying time is stick together  πŸ’ž .

In my practice sometimes the flow comes easily
I know what pose I want to go to next and it all just comes together
And then there’s the other 90% of the time where I go “ oh damn it what was I going to do next”
So if thats happening a lot to you too, your not alone
It happens to all of us I think, at some point or another
When it does for me, I tend to go back to Childs pose and take a moment to rest, and wiggle around in Childs pose then inspiration hits again and away I go in my flow
The biggest thing I can recommend is to just have fun, let your practice be whatever it wants to be
Smile, laugh, enjoy the “oh damn it” moments
